Abstract

Over the course of 8 months (September 2023 – April 2024), I conducted a research process titled Languaging Dance with 6 artists who identify as equity seeking and/or living with disabilities. We explored the possibility of a visceral, embodied, and poetic language to describe movement and – simultaneously - the potential of movement to generate collective poetry in real time.
