Today’s world is complex with a multiplicity of relations forming living practices of/in the cosmos and qualitative inquiry. While connected global worlds can serve as a desirable goal/outcome, Drichel (2019) reminds us about the current ‘crisis of connection’ and forces driven by autonomous individuality may also impact our research processes. To counter this we propose diversifying relational spaces/practices in the context of qualitative inquiry that can offer vitality, methodological and ontological potential. In this conceptual paper we experiment with how we might engage in methodological work building on a sense of living in a cosmos through diverse relations. We discuss the role of relations and processes of living relationality through cosmopraxis in qualitative inquiry especially focusing on research question creation.
