Abstract

The 12-Year Basic Education Curriculum Guidelines in Taiwan emphasize student-centered learning, but aligning teaching methods with students' contexts remains challenging. The COVID-19 pandemic increased the use of virtual collaborative whiteboards, like Padlet, transforming instructional methods and enhancing teachers' knowledge of students' learning contexts. This study uses Actor-Network Theory (ANT) to examine these tools' impact on teaching and learning within an inter-school professional learning community (PLC) over two years. Findings show Padlet enhanced visibility of student learning processes and fostered deeper reflection among teachers and students. These tools challenge traditional teacher roles and reshape educational practices, contributing to meaningful curriculum reform.
