Abstract

Religious illiteracy remains a concern in the US; however, little research critically analyzes what teachers are asked to cover or the resources they use. Pairing critical content analysis and Critical Religious Pluralism Theory, this study considers religion in picture books recommended by NCSS through the Notable Trade Book Lists.
