This paper uses bibliometric analysis of data from the Scopus database to systematically scope AI and educational leadership, tracing its development, characteristics, and knowledge accumulation. The study addresses key research questions: (1) What is the volume and geographic distribution of research on AI in educational leadership? (2) What is the intellectual structure of this discourse? (3) What is the conceptual structure from thematic mapping? (4) What is the distribution of research in terms of targeted Sustainable Development Goals? Results identify key trends, geographic representation, topical foci, main concepts, themes, and their interconnections, with implications for targeted Sustainable Development Goals discussed.
