Fri, April 25, 1:30 to 3:00pm MDT (1:30 to 3:00pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Exhibit Hall Level, Exhibit Hall F - Poster Session

Abstract

This rapid literature review explores the transformative potential of Virtual Reality (VR) in STEM education, with a particular focus on English Language Learners (ELLs). This review examines VR's immersive capabilities to enhance learning outcomes, address gender-specific design challenges, and provide multi-sensory engagement. Despite significant progress, gaps in understanding VR's impact on ELLs in STEM education remain. This review highlights the need for further research to create more equitable learning environments for ELLs.
