A New Way to Assess K-12 School/College or University Partnerships: The CoRR-IAP Survey

Fri, April 25, 1:30 to 3:00pm MDT (1:30 to 3:00pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Meeting Room Level, Room 303

Abstract

This presentation provides an overview of the Collaboration Report and Rating – Inventory for Advancing Partnerships (CoRR-IAP) survey, a new tool that can be utilized to evaluate the activities involved in School University Partnerships. The respondents to the survey are educational personnel in K-12 schools and / or universities or colleges. The administrator of the survey selects one or more collaborative categories (e.g., research, teacher pipelines) for each respondent to report activities within the category which are then rated. Ratings are based on our Four Ss framework, which encompasses structure of administrative organization; shared resources; social justice, equity, and inclusion; and striving for values alignment. To our knowledge the CoRR-IAP survey is a truly unique way to systematically assess partnership activities.
