Abstract

This study examines the influence of family, school, and community partnerships (FSCPs) on implementing mindfulness-based programs (MBPs), emphasizing leadership, cultural values, and community engagement. A case study of a behavioral health organization’s collaboration with a local school district was conducted using interviews, observations, and documents. Thematic analysis identified key themes and patterns. The findings highlight the importance of adaptive leadership, strategic communication, and community engagement in successfully implementing MBPs like Learning 2 BREATHE (L2B). Aligning programs with community values and fostering strong partnerships were crucial for acceptance and sustainability. This research provides insights for customizing educational programs to fit community-specific needs, stressing culturally sensitive and inclusive approaches to support student wellbeing.
