Abstract

Enrique Dussel’s analectic method comprises distinct steps. In this paper I will show the findings of applying the analectic method’s first steps to my experience as a middle school teacher living and teaching in a country in the Global South during thirteen years. After carefully applying those philosophical steps into lived experience, memories, journals, field notes, notes of participatory research I share the findings on how middle school teachers from the Global South have decolonial philosophical notions to offer to build non-modern notions of revolution for curriculum in the U.S. given national racial diversity today.
