Abstract

This study refines the Creativity Landscape (CL) conceptual framework. Through analysis of 50 highly-cited articles from 1950 to 2023, we found strong support for the framework's core structure while identifying valuable refinements. The study supports the CL view that creativity is an emergent phenomenon arising from interactions between multiple elements. Refinements include new elements such as "Imagination, Curiosity" and "Diverse Ideas, People, Perspectives," reflecting evolving creativity research. The revised CL framework offers practical value for educators, learning experience designers, and researchers, providing a comprehensive tool for understanding and fostering creativity across various contexts. Future research directions include exploring cultural adaptations and applications in diverse domains.
