Abstract

Public and legislative debates over the civil rights of transgender and non-binary people continue to increase globally. This comparative case study examines protest movements in the United States and Pakistan through rhetoric concerning transgender and non-binary people in education. The research explains protest movements concerning transgender and non-binary people in education and their impact on individuals as policies continue to change.
