ISCED-Huíla, a Higher Institute of Teacher Education in Angola introduced pedagogical internship in 2018. As a new procedure for ISCED-Huila in particular and in Angola at large, several doubts and problems have come true. Therefore, the purpose of this study carried out at the English Sector of ISCED-Huila was to explore the problems that interns and host teachers face during the internship. It was exploratory in its design, 36 former interns and 23 host teachers were enquired by the means of a questionnaire. The results show that the main problems are related to motivation of the supervisors, high number of interns per supervisors and host teacher, lack of resources, lack of training for host teachers and for supervisors.
