Abstract

Two teacher educators reflect on their path, learning and challenges in transitioning from veteran teachers to teacher educators. Using autoethnographic methods, we used memos and discussions based around five pedagogical moments (Van Manen, 1991) in our careers. As teachers who met during a summer professional development two decades ago, our intertwined journeys allow us to analyze how teacher educators develop their new identities in academia.
