This article addresses the gap in teacher education regarding the preparation of pre-service teachers (PSTs) for teaching mathematics to linguistically diverse students. The authors introduce a collaborative tool developed by a multilingual teacher and a teacher educator. This tool utilizes video clips in mathematics methods classrooms to highlight effective instructional practices, offering a dual focus on representation and decomposition of teaching strategies.
