Abstract

This self-study details how I deliberately constructed my transnational teacher educator identity while teaching my first course in a foreign context. The study reveals how a supportive environment and an active self-awareness of my evolving identity aided my growth. The research complicates the development trajectory that transnational teacher educators experience when they take on a new position in a foreign space.
