Abstract

In the evolving educational landscape, strategic decision-making in school districts is essential for enhancing teaching and learning quality. Central to this process is the deliberate prioritization and sense-making by K-12 principals, who integrate complex frameworks and external initiatives into school practices. This research posits that a standardized approach to strategic implementation is crucial for school development. It advocates for principal preparation programs to emphasize strategic implementation, enabling principals to create coherence among initiatives, particularly impacting rural and high-poverty areas.
