Sat, April 26, 3:20 to 4:50pm MDT (3:20 to 4:50pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Terrace Level, Bluebird Ballroom Room 2A

Abstract

This narrative review focused on the research into work-related flow of school educators, examining 36 journal articles starting from the field’s birth in 1993 to 2024. Based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) and method quality assessment, this review particularly assesses the method quality of educator work-related flow literature and portrays the mechanisms of work-related flow of school educators, and its antecedents and outcomes. As a result, a conceptual taxonomy of school educator work-related flow has been established. The results provide theoretical, methodological, and practical implications for future research, policies, and practice on how to promote work-related flow of school educators.
