Thu, April 24, 3:35 to 5:05pm MDT (3:35 to 5:05pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Meeting Room Level, Room 106

Abstract

A meta-analysis of 51 papers examined indicators influencing and predicting children's creativity. Data successfully passed sensitivity analysis, publication bias testing, and heterogeneity testing. According to the main effects test results, most indicators within the five first-level dimensions—learning agility, problem-solving, practical skills, cooperation, and frustration tolerance—effectively predicted children's creativity. However, the predictive effects of the four second-level indicators were not significant. Additionally, sample average age and gender demonstrated moderating effects on children's creativity, while sample size did not show significant moderation. To enhance children's creativity assessment, improving indicator content by expanding dimensions and employing categorized measurements is recommended.
