Career Ready: The Impact of College Experiences on Interpersonal Skills and Its Gender Differences

Abstract

Examining data from the 2015 TFS and the 2019 CSS (n=10,028), the study utilized multiple regression and found statistically significant impacts across multiple academic and cocurricular related activities on undergraduate students’ interpersonal skills. Results suggest implications to reevaluate and reform some undergraduate experiences to better prepare undergraduate students for success.
