Women of Color in Leadership: A Deep Need for Repair in Difficult Times

Abstract

This study continues a previous study on women of color in educational leadership by looking at their leadership trajectory in the current political and economic situation. Participants are the same as in the previous study. The researchers focus on where the leaders find themselves now in light of the war on DEI, COVID-19 aftermath, and a presidential election year. Findings suggest that harm is prevalent and women of color are having to make disconcerting decisions about their future.
