Abstract

Digital curricular resources (DCR) are systematic repertoires of digital resources in electronic format that capture the scope and sequence of curricular content. As DCR for mathematics content become more accessible, teachers explore these online spaces to make decisions about instructional materials for their courses. However, there is still much to understand around educators’ decisions to utilize certain DCR over others. In this paper, we share how a sample of approximately 30,000 grades 3 and 4 teachers select supplemental mathematics DCR from a standards-aligned, high-quality digital resource repository. We discuss findings from this quantitative exploration related to teacher download behavior over the course of the 2022-2023 academic year.
