Abstract

The paper reports findings from research on partnerships in teacher education conducted 2010-2024. We build on a previous mapping of research on teacher education partnerships covering 2010-2014 and present the work of an ongoing systematic review covering the period 2014-2024. Systematic searches were conducted in six databases, and 39 articles published between 2014-2024 are vetted for inclusion in the review. Preliminary analyses indicate a growing number of studies on partnerships with multiple partners and that few studies published between 2010-2024 focused on how teacher education partnerships should be organized and led. The Coleman report is used to argue that well-functioning teacher education partnerships can contribute to the development of more inclusive educational practices that can be beneficial for more students.
