The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated educational inequities, especially for historically underserved students. In response, the Center for Collaborative Improvement and Equity (CCIE) at Magnolia State University fosters school-university partnerships to drive continuous improvement and promote educational equity. This study examines the challenges and opportunities in establishing these partnerships and evaluates the value participants report. Findings indicate that while limited staffing and communication barriers pose challenges, opportunities exist in building collaborative communities through regular convenings, coaching, and technology. Participants report high value in acquiring new knowledge and skills and applying these to improve educational practices. The study highlights the importance of strategic planning and professional development in fostering effective and sustainable educational improvements.
