Introduction
Professional organizations play a crucial role in shaping the education landscape through their policies, bylaws, and missions, influencing researchers, practitioners, and advocates. This presentation explores the approaches of four key organizations—Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), American Educational Research Association (AERA), Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE), and International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)—towards inclusion and equitable access for their members.
