Abstract

This paper discusses the potential implications of Mississippi Senate Bill 2726 and how it would negatively impact Mississippi Public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The authors employ critical discourse analysis and critical race theory to examine the text. The findings of this study will support the overarching support for HBCUs.
