The purpose of this paper is to underscore the importance of youth-centered approaches in reimagining educational frameworks and sustaining decolonial dialogue. Drawing from participatory methodologies within museum studies and education, this study advocates for the direct involvement of youth in co-creating transformative educational experiences. By aligning with Indonesia's history of embracing decoloniality, this work aims to amplify alternative voices and challenge dominant narratives. Using the example of the restitution process between the Netherlands and Indonesia, this research proposes strategies to engage youth in the process through direct participation and promptings. This chapter concludes with suggestions for integrating youth voices and community-driven elements into museum exhibits and educational programs.
