Inclusive Justice for Students With Severe Disabilities in Azerbaijan

Abstract

The qualitative research study investigates the measures implemented by educators and administrators in two Azerbaijani feeder schools to shift towards inclusive educational environments that accommodate students with severe disabilities. The study involved interviews with 18 participants, comprising community leaders, two principals, four teachers, four teaching assistants, and five parents. Major findings show a partnership between parents, teachers, and principals who were instructional leaders in the schools. Collective efforts created a community of action and joy.
