Abstract

This presentation explores a collaborative project between Ball State University and the University of Ngaoundere in Cameroon to enhance higher education through competency-based pedagogical workshops. The project aims to address pedagogic incompetency and curriculum quality by fostering innovative teaching practices that promote critical thinking, creativity, and civic engagement. By integrating U.S. educational expertise and Cameroon’s contextual needs, the initiative seeks to empower educators and advance educational renewal in Cameroon.
