This study explores the combined and individual effects of parental involvement (PI), parent/guardian educational attainment (P-GEA), and school-parent communication (SPC) on student academic achievement (SAA) among K-12 students in the U.S., using Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Systems Theory. We extracted the Parent and Family Involvement Survey from the 2019 National Household Education Surveys Program (NHES) in this study. Multiple regression was used to test two hypotheses and answer one research question. The major result showed that parental involvement, parent/guardian educational attainment, and school-parent communication significantly predict student academic achievement (F(3, 16442) = 392.086, p < .001). This study concludes that the roles of parental education, involvement, and school-parent communication should not be underestimated.
