Thu, April 24, 3:35 to 5:05pm MDT (3:35 to 5:05pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Ballroom Level, Four Seasons Ballroom 2-3

Abstract

This study deeply seeks to explore the views of parents from schools in different socio-economic regions. The central research question guiding this investigation is: "How do differences between the views of parents from schools in different socio-economic regions on school-family cooperation?" This inquiry aims to suggest family-related opinions for developing new policies that can bridge the gap in educational success between schools and ensure equitable educational opportunities for all students. By understanding and addressing the unique needs of families from different socioeconomic backgrounds, schools can create more equitable and supportive educational environments. This study advocates for targeted policies and practices that enhance communication, provide necessary support, and promote active parental involvement, ultimately contributing to a more just and inclusive education system.
