The COVID-19 pandemic significantly changed work dynamics, impacting work-family relations. Despite the known positive outcomes of work-family enrichment (WFE), its antecedents, especially in a specific occupation during crises, remain underexplored. This study addresses this gap by examining the personal and contextual antecedents of WFE among teachers during the pandemic. Data from 505 teachers showed that proactive career behavior and reflective coping style significantly predicted WFE. High school teachers reported higher levels of WFE compared to those in elementary and junior high schools. These findings have implications for organizations and individuals, underscoring the need for career development programs and training that promote proactive behaviors and effective coping strategies, highlighting their role in improving work-family enrichment during challenging times.
