Abstract

Intellectual risk-taking refers to students' willingness to not be afraid of making mistakes and failing in their learning. In this study, 106 undergraduate students, from a province were given questionnaires, in order to explore the relationship between peer support and intellectual risk-taking under the empirical study with anxiety as the mediating variable. The final results are as follows: 1) There is a significant positive correlation between peer support and the intellectual risk-taking of college students; 2) Anxiety, as an intermediary variable, impacts the relationship between the independent and dependent variables and is negatively correlated with both the independent variable (peer support) and the dependent variable (intellectual risk-taking).
