Abstract

The landscape of higher education is ever evolving, as are its various stakeholders, including its faculty, students, and staff. This case study focuses on five faculty members from various disciplines engaging in a “train-the-trainer” professional development initiative focused on diversity and inclusion (DI) at an urban public Hispanic-serving institution (UPHSI) in the Northeastern region of the United States of America. These participants (henceforth “the trainers”) received training to become trainers in using the WHOLE Experience Framework (WEF) to inform DI practices.
