Abstract

This study examines the integration of mobile learning into Korean as a Foreign Language (KFL) through a blended learning model that combines traditional methods with online tools. The research utilizes platforms like LINE and the "Sejong Korean Conversation" apps to enhance student engagement, instructional effectiveness, and instructor growth, guided by the ARCS model. The course was structured over four stages in 18 weeks, using semistructured interviews, unit learning sheets, teacher's reflective notes, and an ARCS feedback survey as research instruments. Results show that the blended approach effectively engaged students and supported their learning. The study also highlights the instructor's professional growth through reflective practices and motivational theories. The findings highlight the potential of mobile technology in language instruction.
