There is a growing need to integrate AI education into K-12 classrooms. This study introduces a "Science + Conversational AI" module in middle school science to enhance students' understanding of AI and science. Using the AMBY platform, students participate in AI introduction and hands-on chatbot development. The research evaluates its impact on student attitudes toward AI and assesses student-created chatbot artifacts for alignment with AI and science knowledge. Results from 100 students show increased AI ability beliefs but decreased intention to pursue further AI learning post-intervention. This study contributes to AI education by providing effective integration with core subjects within constructionism and authenticity frameworks.
