Abstract

This paper session shares the testimonios of Latinx educational leadership and administration graduate students in cohort models in two Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) universities in the southwestern United States. Findings reveal the value and challenges of cohort models for Latinx leaders commencing leadership positions in their schools and districts. This research shows how the cohort model shapes graduate education, fosters community, and influences academic and professional outcomes.
