Abstract

Microlearning promotes inclusivity and is increasingly being promoted for adoption in the workforce for employees training. Empirical work on the extent to which microlearning can achieve intended outcomes in workplace settings is scarce. This experimental study with a control group design with 190 participants who are employees of a Company in Western Africa received two of their Company’s training modules to investigate Microlearning effectiveness in enhancing their training outcomes. Results were mixed when the microlearning and traditional average mean post-test scores were compared for each of the two modules.
