Expanding, Shrinking, and Standardizing Religions: A Content Analysis of State History Standards

Sat, April 26, 11:40am to 1:10pm MDT (11:40am to 1:10pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Ballroom Level, Four Seasons Ballroom 2-3

We find that standards typically frame religions as “ancient” topics, seldom requiring instruction about non-Christian religions, and emphasize religious conflict.
