This qualitative study explores how inclusive science communicators, as adult educators in STEM, experience - and intentionally utilize critical dialogue as a social justice tool in their practice. Given a paucity of literature on this emerging subgroup and on empirical literature around the integration of adult learning methods for social justice in STEM, the study also seeks to position science communicators as adult learners, illuminating how they navigate the challenges and tensions inherent in critical dialogue, with a view to reducing STEM related inequities across adult-focused STEM settings.
