Abstract

This study aimed to investigate pre-service teachers' perceptions of using digital games for future teaching, including motivation variables and intention. We examined the changes of pre-service teachers’ perceptions of adopting digital games over time as well as the relationships of proposed variables. Participants were pre-service teachers from a university. Quantitative approaches were performed to analyze the data. Results indicated belief and motivation as significant predictors of pre-service teachers’ future adoption, and significant changes of motivation variables over time.as well as the influence of potential factors on future adoption. Pre-service teachers’ perceptions of using digital games for future teaching were reported and discussed.
