Abstract

The Chilean education system is transforming with the creation of the National Public Education Directorate (DEP) and Local Public Education Services (SLEPs). This study analyzes the activities of SLEPs' educational networks and how they mobilize and adapt knowledge in their schools. Guided by collaborative network and knowledge mobilization theories, it employs a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Survey data identified well-functioning networks, followed by interviews, focus groups, and egonetwork questionnaires. Findings indicate that networks focusing on coordinators address school management, while those emphasizing student learning also address well-being. Integration was the most frequent form of knowledge mobilization (47%), followed by diffusion (35%) and innovation (18%)
