Abstract

This study explored race-conscious leadership and the grave effects this work had on the minds, bodies, and spirits of four Black principals. Using personal narratives and critical racial reflections as qualitative research methodology, this research exposes the insurmountable stress and grief four Black principals experienced in fighting for racial justice and equity.
