Abstract

Since 2001, the International Successful School Principalship Project (ISSPP) has conducted extensive research on successful principalship. This paper presents a qualitative meta-analysis of 71 empirical cases from 15 countries, aiming to identify leadership practices that transform disadvantaged schools and foster success among students from diverse backgrounds. Using meta-ethnography, we analyzed findings from ISSPP publications on successful leadership practices across various global contexts. The results enhance our understanding of successful principalship and provide valuable insights for leadership development in the global education landscape.
