Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to progress the ongoing conversation about narrative pedagogy in education. The autobiographical narrative inquiry approach compiles the story of a visiting professor at a Brazilian university. He presents a seminar on education for social justice, drawing from his experiences at that institution. In his presentation, he uses narrative pedagogy as a relational learning tool. The material provides a comprehensive overview of the seminar, as well as a systematization of the experience. Finally, he discusses the application of narrative pedagogy to postgraduate education in Latin American countries, as well as the opportunities that it presents.
