Abstract

Knowledge sharing is a powerful catalyst for establishing a dynamic organizational environment that nurtures innovation, learning, and adaptability—critical elements for an organization's long-term sustainability. Active knowledge sharing is influenced by employee’s perceptions of significance and engagement in their work. However, much of the existing research has focused narrowly on organizational factors like culture, trust, and relationship networks, often with a short-term perspective. This limited focus hinders a comprehensive understanding of the complex dynamics of knowledge sharing. Our results underscore that knowledge sharing is strongly linked to employee engagement and meaningful work on organizational sustainability. These findings also highlight the dual mediating roles of engagement and meaningful work in amplifying the positive effects of knowledge sharing on sustainability.
