Validation of Active Learning Classroom Perception Survey for College Students (Poster 44)

Abstract

Inspired by above-mentioned theoretical frameworks and building upon previous studies, for this study, we used exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to identify the number of underlying constructs (factors) of the ALC perception survey we adapted. Based on the findings of various tests done for determining the number of factors and the exploratory analysis (EFA) using data from 152 college students, we identified a factor structure of two factors, with the first factor focusing more on the engagement and the second factor exploring the affect.
