This paper explores the sense of belonging journey for a Black Caribbean-born women at predominantly white institutions (PWIs) in the U.S., focusing on the intersection of Black feminist theory and sense of belonging. It examines the impact of historical Caribbean migration and conditional citizenship to highlight and amplify the voices of Caribbean-born women their journey to balance cultural identity and belonging in U.S. higher education.
