Thu, April 24, 1:45 to 3:15pm MDT (1:45 to 3:15pm MDT), The Colorado Convention Center, Floor: Exhibit Hall Level, Exhibit Hall F - Poster Session

Abstract

Educators strongly agree that AI must be implemented in ways that support teacher and leader development, meet student and parent needs, and enhance outcomes without compromising the integrity of a student’s educational experience. Despite diverse reactions, stakeholders have realized that “AI is here to stay.” The purpose of this study is to explore how the AI tool, Khanmigo, has been implemented across four districts in Oklahoma through the lens of Roger’s Diffusion of Innovation Theory. This study utilized a qualitative comparative case study design to understand how Khanmigo was adopted in each district and the conditions that influenced adoption.
