Abstract

In this study, I propose to further the pedagogical implementation and research of Restorative Practices by 1) describing how teachers and students in a U.S. middle school work together through Collaborative Dialogue Sessions (CDS) to identify problems in their classrooms and schools, and how they design and enact solutions to those problems, and 2) sharing what tools students and teachers name as being most useful for engaging in the CDS process that allow them to name and confront injustices in their classrooms, school, and district.
