In this study, we draw on two distinct school-based ethnographies to explore the ways in which youth participants in our studies used ethnographic work to resist oppressive school conditions. We find that engaging youth stories through a collaborative storytelling process across data creates opportunities for deeper connection through multiple ways of be/coming as students reclaim how they come to know themselves and each other.
